EWP Group, Inc., is a 100% Certified Employee-Owned distribution company headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Founded in 1990 by Chip Smith of Fort Mill, Process Equipment, Inc. initially served as a distributor and representative of industrial equipment across North and South Carolina. In 2009, the company merged with Emory Wilson Industrials to form Emory Wilson Process, Inc., solidifying its position as a premier supplier of industrial fluid handling equipment in the region. 

In 2011, E.W.P. Group became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). After completing two acquisitions, the company formed EWP Group, a dynamic consortium comprising the Mechanical Equipment Division, the MacGuire & Crawford Instrumentation & Controls Division, and the Lord & Company Industrial Automation Division. In 2023, EWP Group expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of the R.A. Moore System Integration Division, further solidifying its position as a comprehensive provider of process control solutions.
