MJW Consolidated is an employee-owned company in the construction industry headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 1969 by Milton J. Wood, the company initially specialized in heavy equipment rigging and house relocation. Today, MJW Consolidated is a network of companies, Milton J. Wood Company, Milton J. Wood Fire Protection, and MWJ Engineering. Each company specializes in different disciplines and they seamlessly work together to deliver a wide range of construction, engineering and fire protection services.
In 2001, MJW Consolidated became employee-owned when they established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The ownership culture at MJW Consolidated is built on mutual respect and shared rewards. Employee owners are united in their mission to deliver value to customers and cultivate repeat business through exceptional performance. When their clients are successful, then MJW is successful. Through their shared contributions, employees also benefit when the company is successful because of their ownership stake in the company.
