Originally established as a single practice in 1979 by Dr. Wayne Mortenson, the company has expanded to encompass over 140 practices spread across ten states, boasting a workforce of over 1,500 dedicated professionals who collectively oversee nearly one million patient visits each year. Their comprehensive range of services, encompassing general and pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
In 2005, Mortensen Dental Partners became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). What sets Mortenson Dental Partners apart from many other dental support organizations is its unique status as a fully employee-owned entity.
