MTE Communications is a 100% employee-owned company in the telecommunications industry headquartered in Midvale, Idaho. MTE was founded in 1909, bringing the telephone to the small farming community of 200 people. For over 110 years, MTE has offered its customers the latest telecommunications and broadband technologies. Today, the company offers phone and internet services to rural Idaho and Arizona.
In 2008, MTE Communications became the first regulated phone company to become employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As owners, employees are committed to exceeding expectations by treating their customers, communities, and each other, with respect, honesty, and integrity.
