Satellite Services, Inc., (SSI) is a 100% employee-owned janitorial service company headquartered in Marquette, Michigan. Since its founding in 1981, SSI has provided operating support, facility operations and maintenance, and military family housing operations and maintenance services to government and commercial customers. Their cost-effective methodology centers on prolonging the life cycle and optimizing the performance of facilities and equipment, resulting in substantial operational cost reductions. Today, the company operates eighteen locations throughout the country.
In 2021, Satellite Services, Inc., became employee-owned when they implemented an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
