We are seeking a smart, motivated full-time Sales and Business Development Manager. Our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and Business Development (BD) team play a critical role in growing our business. The primary focus of this position is leading these teams of inbound and outbound sales specialists, and providing them with the processes, training and tools to meet business needs. This includes identifying and developing target accounts and leads, developing campaign goals, and sales outreach through a combination of cold calling and qualifying leads, and developing those leads into sales opportunities.

Pay: $55k-$60k

Location: Lewisville office (hybrid)

Responsibilities

Lead a team of SDRs and BDs that are responsible for promoting Southwest Solutions Group to generate and deliver qualified leads to the sales team. This position will be held accountable for the team’s success and take responsibility for continuous coaching and training of the team. In this role, you will align team goals and activities with our company initiatives to ensure we achieve our growth target. This role works closely with the sales, marketing and executive teams to maximize pipeline creation, and reports to the Director of Marketing.

Monitor and refine lead processes; continually optimize HubSpot and other software tools to improve productivity
Recruit, onboard, and manage the team
Train, develop, and educate team on products, processes and KPIs
Motivate team to meet and exceed individual goals
Meet and exceed KPIs for the department
Work with sales to optimize pipeline creation and efficient lead handoff
Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to effectively pitch our solutions and set appointments with qualified prospects
Analyze data to identify trends and communicate to senior management

One to three years in an Inside Sales Development or Inside Sales role
Excellent customer-facing skills using written and verbal communication
Experience in utilizing and managing CRM tools and data (HubSpot experience a plus)
Highly organized around metrics and able to work independently and be self-motivated to generate pipeline
Results driven and able to work through rejection
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
Proven success as a sales professional with an ability to lead the team by example
