The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing union payroll for electrical field crew members on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

Process new hire paperwork, setting up employees with proper union craft and class
Manual and software upload integrations to enter time data into accounting/payroll software (Vista - Viewpoint)
Follow up with timekeepers to ensure accuracy; research and resolve discrepancies
All other timekeeping/data entries for weekly payroll processing, including garnishment and loan deductions
Assist in sorting, printing and mailing of weekly payroll checks, direct deposit paystubs and employee communications
Monthly union reports and payment processing
Certified Payroll reports and Fringe Benefits

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Union payroll experience: 1 year minimum
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills; ability to adhere to firm deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
