Accounting Associate

Boston Retail Solutions is the leading provider of modular barricades, large format graphics, graphic installation, and various facilities maintenance services. We provide environmentally friendly solutions to airports, retailers, large venues, mall developers, hotels, contractors and more.

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant at our Corporate Office in Vero Beach, Florida. This position will play a crucial role by performing budgeting, forecasting, analysis, along with managing daily, monthly, quarterly and year end accounting task. This position is a cross functional role requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • AR Analysis, invoicing, collections, cash application, credit, and dispute resolution
  • Multi-state sales tax processing
  • Personal property tax filing
  • Analyze, and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Assist with daily activities within accounts payable
  • SOP creation and modification for various functions within the accounting department
  • Calculate and track financial metrics to support senior management requirements
  • Manage various accounting special projects
  • Maintains relationships with customers and vendors

Skills And Qualifications

  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems
  • Advanced in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient with Avalara tax software or similar tax software
  • Understanding of accounting procedures and best practices
  • Self-motivated and Productivity driven
  • Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers

Education And Experience

  • AA, BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Five years or more of accounting experience required with companies exceeding $30 Million in annual sales
