What You’ll Do:
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will:
- Be the vital link between the project team, keeping everyone informed and organized.
- Manage key documents like files, subcontractor agreements, insurance, and payrolls.
- Attend and contribute to project team meetings, including close-outs.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain preconstruction folders and overall schedules.
- Support Superintendents by organizing project schedules and superintendent books, including Toolbox Talks.
- Process invoices, match, code them, and distribute them for approval.
- Oversee subcontractor agreements, payment requisitions, and insurance compliance.
- Analyze project drawings, perform takeoffs, and procure materials.
- Use your technical expertise with tools like Heavy Job, HCSS, and VISTA Viewpoint.
- Assist with submittals, shop drawings, and progress tracking to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
Experience & Education:
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
- Airport Electrical experience is a plus!
