IT Project Manager

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing and managing IT projects related to IT infrastructure projects, such as system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, cloud deployments/migrations, and more. This position may be remote. Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities Include:

Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical resources, operations, purchasing, sales and external vendors, to define project goals and deliverables.
Track equipment shipping status and coordinate with stakeholders for shipment delivery and acceptance.
Work with internal and external stakeholder to schedule on-site resources.
Develop detailed project plans, dashboards, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress and mitigating risks.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
Manage and document project scope changes, resolving issues that may arise during project execution.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards for project management.
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve high performance and foster a collaborative work environment.
Implement and maintain tools and frameworks for project tracking, communication, and reporting.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Remain solution-oriented for our clients.

Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or ability to receive PMP certification within one year of hire.
5+ years of proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including system implementations, or infrastructure upgrades, cloud deployments/migrations.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
Proficient in project management tools.
Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Team, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Works with a sense of urgency and above average responsiveness in communications.
Ability to prioritize work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or cloud calling/voice projects.
