Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for a Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency. This position is based in Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
Provide MDA systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects.
Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team.
Provides technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA’s Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
Required Experience
Master's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience.
Systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules.
Experience with Technical performance assessments, risk analysis, and mitigation development.
Must be a US Citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
Preferred Qualifications
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
