Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer

Torch Technologies is currently seeking an Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer to provide Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support for Aircraft Survivability Equipment. The position involves working with Digital System Models (DSM) of sensors and other components in a team centric environment on Redstone Arsenal. This is a multi-disciplinary software-centered team with engineering, computer science, mathematics, and physics knowledge applicable.

Primary duties will include simulation execution, development of analysis tools and procedures, assessments of performance, pre- and post-flight data generation, and overall DSM capability enhancement. Previous experience or familiarity with optical sensors, image processing, EO/IR, and statistical analysis techniques are desirable. Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C++ tools and programming languages needed. Some travel may be required in support of flight tests.

• B.S. in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited college or university
• 5 or more years of experience
• Proficiency with Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB
• Interest in Sensors, EO/IR concepts, or Image Processing
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Capable of working in a diverse multi-disciplinary group
• Position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain and maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position.
