Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Sales Specialist. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.
Summary:
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the day-to-day sales activities of Brewer Science's smaller accounts within the US, as well as managing the sales lifecycle process by identifying, hunting, and qualifying leads which will uncover new sales opportunities for Brewer Science. Subsequently, you will be developing these opportunities through the product introduction and qualification stages, ultimately leading to POR wins.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries by coordinating with internal resources to provide technical, commercial and product information resulting in new sales opportunities.
Present, promote and sell BSI’s products using knowledge and expertise to existing and prospective customers
Generate leads, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities with the objective of driving profitable growth.
Utilize sales tools and resources to drive revenue growth by maintaining current business and capturing new opportunities at new and existing accounts.
Engage with assigned accounts, developing key relationships and drive BSI activities to support and grow account base.
Understand customer’s needs and their challenges to create solutions and demonstrate value.
Identify potential customer's needs and formulate business proposals according to the customer's requirements.
Be the primary customer interface that drives all Brewer Science customer interactions, including but not limited to, being the customer expert, creating and influencing customer specific messaging, setting agendas for on-site visits and internal customer meetings, and providing voice of the customer.
Create, grow and lead internal responses to ensure best-in-class customer support. Have regular meetings with internal functions.
Respond to customer request in a timely manner; within 24 hours is best but could be a maximum of five business days for complex requests.
Regular, direct contact with assigned customers, including but not limited to, frequent face-to-face meetings and calls at all levels and locations of customers delivering high quality service and support. Provides voice of Brewer Science to customers.
Stay up to date on news media and stock information for customer. Validate industry rumours and provides insights on impact on Brewer Science.
Research, establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
Drive performance and revenue growth by leading sales and marketing strategies based on awareness of overall market and competitive conditions.
Gather market information by coordinating market research to gain insight on market needs and to capture the voice-of-the-customer, to ensure representation.
Utilize competitive analysis, market research, negotiation, and proposal recommendations to show prospective customers BSI’s value in the marketplace.
Develop internal relationships with key individuals and business groups.
Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders and senior management, delivering regular and detailed reports on sales outcomes.
Build meaningful relationships with customers using your market knowledge, expertise and sales tools and resources.
Collaborate and work cross functionally with the organization to ensure all corporate sales goals are met.
Education & Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of experience
Internship or 1 year sales experience preferred
Associate degree 2-5 years of sales experience preferably in a high tech or technical field such as in the semiconductor industry
HS Diploma and 5+ customer service experience/technical sales
