We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant based at our Vero Beach Corporate Office. Physical presence is required on-site.
The Human Resources Assistant will focus primarily on the company's recruiting and payroll functions. The HR Assistant will also assist the Director of Human Resources in other areas of human resources and performs other duties as assigned.
Accountability
Posting job openings as directed
Applicant sourcing, selection, and interview scheduling
Submit background, drug screen, and DMV investigation requests
Process and keep I-9 records to include verification and storage
Process new hire paperwork ensuring accuracy and upkeep of payroll system
Work the biweekly payroll process
Prepares and maintain personnel files and driving records
Other clerical functions as needed
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Effective communication SKILLS; BOTH verbal and written
Ability to interact with all employees and staff at all levels
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Performs telephone duties which require answering telephones, messages, forwarding calls and assisting callers with questions
Excellent time management and problem solution skills
manage multiple projects at the same time, ability to work with urgent deadlines and flexible prioritization
Ability to operate current software programs
2 -4 years prior Recruiting and payroll processing experience
Bachelor’s degree or SHRM Certification preferred
