Torch Technologies is seeking a Systems Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Analysis and Reporting activity. This role involves analyzing and evaluating complex system project requirements related to flight tests, ground tests, and simulation-based testing of the Missile Defense System (MDS). The selected candidate will provide analytical support throughout all phases of system-level test events, reviewing user requirements, identifying potential issues, and formulating solutions to enhance MDS performance and interoperability.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate major system project requirements of considerable complexity, considering all interfacing system parameters.
Support all phases of system-level testing: pre-mission predictive analysis, on-site quick-look analysis, and post-mission detailed analysis.
Provide analytical support in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing complex, interlinked systems.
Utilize SQL, Python, Ceti, and Tableau to process multiple data sources, visualize results, and assess MDS performance.
Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements and resolve interface challenges.
Generate and present test analysis documentation, including test readiness briefs, quick-look reports, and detailed analysis reports.
Review alternate approaches, evaluate methodologies, and recommend solutions using systems and methods engineering techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve MDS performance.
Travel as needed to support test events.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience analyzing missile defense systems.
Secret-level security clearance required.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets using SQL or Python.
Experience using Ceti and creating Tableau workbooks.
Strong problem-solving skills, self-initiative, and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Ability to clearly express ideas and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
