Our Opportunity
GPJ is hiring a Carpenter Foreman to join our growing team.
This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Las Vegas office location a minimum of 5 days per week.
Your Role
As a Carpenter Foreman, I oversee and manage all aspects of carpentry work within our fabrication projects. My responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of carpenters, ensuring the precise translation of design plans into high-quality fabricated structures and components using diverse materials and techniques. I will lead, supervise, and mentor my team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and cultivating a collaborative work environment. Additionally, I will interpret intricate construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to execute fabrication tasks with utmost precision, employing advanced carpentry tools, machinery, and techniques to fabricate wood, metal, and composite materials to exact specifications.
Collaboration with designers, engineers, and project managers will be crucial to coordinate project timelines, resolve technical challenges, and maintain rigorous quality standards. I will conduct thorough quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure adherence to design, safety, and regulatory requirements, while also managing inventory to optimize resource allocation and minimize waste. Upholding stringent safety protocols and regulations to foster a secure working environment for my team will be a top priority.
Your Skills

Your Experience
Experience & Education
- Extensive experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 8 years in fabrication or related roles, including substantial experience in leadership and supervision.
- Proven expertise in interpreting and implementing construction plans, blueprints, and specifications for complex fabrication projects.
- Proficiency in utilizing a wide range of carpentry tools and advanced machinery, including CNC machines and automated systems.
- In-depth knowledge of materials used in fabrication processes, such as wood, metal, and composite materials, and their properties.
- Certification in carpentry or fabrication techniques is a plus.
