Here at Ashley Homestore/Furniture & ApplianceMart, we are looking for people that have a desire to learn and grow in their career. If that is you, join our Sales Team as a full-time Furniture Sales Professional. Our first year Sales Professionals can expect to earn on average between $40,000 - $60,000.

We are looking for talented people that have a desire to learn and start a career in sales. We will train you! This is a commissioned position. We offer an hourly rate of $20 during our 60-day training program.

What you will be doing each day:

  • Warmly greet our customers and have a great conversation with them about their wants and needs.
  • Help the customer create an amazing room to enjoy with their family and friends.
  • Answer any questions the customer has about financing and payment plans.
  • Close the sale and assure the customer is happy with their purchase.
  • Invite the customer to come back and keep in touch.
  • At all times be honest and demonstrate integrity in the sales process.
  • Follow up with the customer to ensure they love their purchase.

  • Previous successful experience in sales or customer service related positions preferred but not required
  • Passion about doing a great job and making a great living
  • Desire to have control over your earning ability

  • Outgoing personality and ability to have some fun
  • Confidence and desire to learn about the business through our training program
  • Commitment in helping customers with the utmost integrity
  • Computer skills
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
