We are seeking an experienced Technician to support the installation of building automation and direct digital control (DDC) systems in existing commercial facilities and new commercial construction projects. This role requires a motivated self-starter who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering high-quality installations. The technician will be expected to assist with the training of new team members, uphold installation standards, and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation.
This position may require overnight travel outside of the employee’s residence area based on project needs.

Job Responsibilities
Install low voltage (50 VAC and under) control wiring and network communication wiring.
Install conduit (up to 1” in diameter) and perform conduit bending.
Mount and wire building automation hardware such as device controllers, sensors, panels, actuators, thermostats, and related components.
Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications.
Read and interpret construction blueprints, control system diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Interpret and follow sequence of operations for control systems.
Effectively communicate with job site foremen, project managers, and other team leaders to ensure smooth project execution.
Follow safety protocols, adhere to job site procedures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mechanical, electrical, or BAS industry.
Strong understanding of BAS controls, control systems operations, and industry best practices for BAS installations
Fundamental knowledge of HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings.
Ability to train and mentor apprentices and other Field Techs on installation techniques and proper wiring practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive installation tasks.
Proficiency in time management and project coordination to meet deadlines and installation schedules.
Ability to work at heights greater than 10 feet and obtain certification for lift operation.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Must be fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to successfully pass pre-hire background and drug screenings.
