POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Roustabout is responsible for general labor and maintenance tasks on oil and gas sites, ensuring that equipment, facilities, and work areas are kept in safe and operational condition. This role supports drilling, production, and maintenance crews by performing routine upkeep, assisting with repairs, and handling materials as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Perform general maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on oilfield equipment, pipelines, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation, inspection, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.
• Operate hand and power tools, pressure washers, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
• Haul and organize materials, ensuring work areas remain clean and hazard-free.
• Support rig-up and rig-down operations, as well as maintenance on pumps, valves, and pipelines.
• Assist welders, mechanics, electricians, and other specialized technicians as required.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, leaks, or safety concerns.
• Perform routine facility upkeep, such as painting, landscaping, and general site organization.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Back-Up Surface Fueler – Assist in fueling operations as needed.
• Tank Wagon Driver – Operate and maintain tank wagon for fuel deliveries.
• Transport Driver – Support fuel and fluid transportation as required.
• DEF Delivery – Deliver Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to designated locations.
• Tank, Pump, and Equipment Maintenance – Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on tanks, pumps, and other equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in oilfield operations, maintenance, or construction preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and remote locations.
• Familiarity with OSHA and oilfield safety regulations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation (e.g., loaders, skid steers, forklifts).
• Knowledge of pipeline maintenance, pressure testing, or rig operations.
• H2S certification, First Aid/CPR, or other oilfield safety training.
