50% Client/Policy Services
- Serve as a reporting and analytics subject matter expert.
- Assist in generating monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the management of HIG’s financial/clinical database tools.
- Develop routine reports for clients to include renewal information, claim history, mid-year planning, and detailed utilization data.
- Benchmark analyses.
- Develop new reporting methods through automation and eliminate manual data entry.
- Assist actuary with input reporting.
- Assist account executives and other business areas on an ad hoc basis.
30% Work Ethic
- Utilizes strong organizational and time management skills in order to maintain efficiency. Works to support the organization's goals and values. Engages proactively on client needs and upcoming renewals; finds areas to improve the organization and client relationships. Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals. Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals.
10% Teamwork
- Works together with the team and with other departments, such as Commercial Lines, Select Lines, Bonds, and Employee Benefits; this includes discussing execution strategies with Producers. Assists in training of new service team members. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed. Special project as requested by the Manager. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs.
10% Determination
- Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of insurance experience and/or business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
- Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment. Must hold a valid Driver's License. Must be able to obtain insurance designations as set forth by the organization’s education plan.
