Highlight is seeking a Washington, DC-based Policy Analyst to support our General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Team. This role will provide policy analysis, regulatory compliance expertise, and system functionality support. The Policy Analyst will interpret and apply regulatory knowledge to ensure system alignment with federal acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Apply working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) to assess regulatory policies
- Analyze statutory and regulatory policies to ensure alignment with system functionality.
- Communicate policy interpretations, system impacts, and regulatory updates.
- Document and analyze policy impacts.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations in system design and implementation.
- Support policy-related research to enhance system effectiveness and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline.
- 2 years of experience as a Policy Analyst, Government Contracts Manager, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Title 2 CFR.
- Ability to connect acquisition policy to system functionality.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to convey policy interpretations and impacts.
- Knowledge of SAM.gov and FPDS.gov functionality.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a public trust.
