Highlight is seeking a Washington, DC-based Business Analyst to support our General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Team. This role will provide business process analysis, data-driven support, and functional expertise. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to assess business needs, identify process improvements, and ensure alignment with the federal acquisition environment.

The GSA is the United States’ premier agency dedicated to the procurement of goods and services for the federal government. As a pivotal component of the government infrastructure, GSA is responsible for acquiring and managing space for government operations. It has delivered over $110 billion in goods and services for FY 2024 to civilian and defense agencies.
Responsibilities
- Assess system needs and process improvements.
- Conduct business process modeling for users, processes, and systems.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and improve business processes.
- Communicate through written reports and oral presentations.
- Identify opportunities where IT can enhance business efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to define project requirements.
Qualifications
- Public Trust suitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline.
- 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related field.
- Knowledge of business functionality within SAM.gov or FPDS.gov.
- Experience conducting business process modeling between users and systems.
- Experience analyzing data to support business decisions.
- Proficiency spreadsheet and diagramming tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to convey findings .
