Highlight is seeking a Washington, DC-based Project Manager to support our General Services Administration (GSA) Contract Team. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Government, responsible for the management, content, and quality of work. The Project Manager will oversee a large team providing DevSecOps services for eCommerce and other applications.

The GSA is the United States’ premier agency dedicated to the procurement of goods and services for the federal government. As a pivotal component of the government infrastructure, GSA is responsible for acquiring and managing space for government operations. It has delivered over $110 billion in goods and services for FY 2024 to civilian and defense agencies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Government
- Manage the execution, quality, and content of all work performed.
- Present internally and to the client about the status of the project
- Ensure teams are adequately staffed and risks are proactively managed
- Track and report project budget against appropriate line items
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a Tier 2S (Moderate Risk) background investigation
- Bachelor’s in information technology or similar technically related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience managing federal contracts
- Experience managing projects of at least 75 FTE.
Key Skills & Knowledge Areas:
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Working knowledge of DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Industry certifications such as DevOps Certified Agile Service Manager, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
