Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise, train, and coach a team of fabrication shop employees.
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance to ensure production goals are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all fabricated parts meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and collaborate with quality control teams to address defects.
  • Report and address maintenance needs to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Act as the main point of contact between 2nd shift team members and management.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a manufacturing/fabrication environment, with leadership experience preferred.

Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints and operate fabrication equipment.

Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing, safety regulations, and quality control processes.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus.
