PURPOSE OF POSITION: 

To gather, document, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. To work closely with internal customers to improve processes, enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision making.

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: 

To maintain high inventory turnover while ensuring we have products available to match the projections of our top customers. To understand the needs of both our internal and external customers and identify solutions to business challenges with our customers’ evolving needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

1. Works with top customers to determine upcoming forecasts and maintain evolving projections
2. Implement plans to ensure smooth product flow, assisting in inventory risk management and mitigation activities
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and operational challenges
4. Identify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement using statistical tools and methodologies
5. Facilitate meetings and conversations to align stakeholders on solutions
6. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to production, supply chain, quality, and overall business operations
7. Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights
8. Recommend process enhancements and digital transformation initiatives to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness
9. Translate business needs into technical requirements for IT and engineering teams
10. Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Skills & Abilities)

• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task while coordinating activities
• Analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Technical experience with programming languages preferred

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
