Summary:

The District Director – Minnesota District is responsible for leading, planning, directing, controlling, and ensuring the profitability of sales and operations within company policies and guidelines to achieve regional and corporate goals. This role oversees operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery while directly reporting to the VP of Operations. The District Director will drive aggressive sales growth, expand market presence, and enhance financial performance across multiple locations.

On a day-to-day basis, the District Director supervises operational teams, drives new business acquisition, maintains and strengthens customer relationships, ensures compliance with specifications, and manages financial performance. Additional responsibilities include training oversight, safety program administration, incident investigations, personnel management, quality control, and assisting in marketing efforts.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee district operations, ensuring alignment with regional and company objectives.
  • Drive sales growth, market expansion, and revenue generation within the Minnesota district.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all safety processes, techniques, and practices are implemented and monitored.
  • Develop team members for delegation of responsibilities and leadership growth. Identify high-potential personnel for promotions and communicate succession plans.
  • Strengthen and maintain customer relationships by addressing concerns and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain cost control measures while ensuring service quality and account profitability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting across all operational functions.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes in line with company policies.
  • Develop training and supervision strategies to ensure staff competency and productivity.
  • Maintain and enforce personnel policies, salary structures, and employee benefits.
  • Monitor and manage employee turnover, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through service delivery, job schedule adherence, and inspections.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies, quality control measures, and risk management programs.
  • Serve as a key resource for compliance, innovation, training, and operational standardization.
  • Ensure adherence to company mission, values, and quality systems.
  • Maintain compliance with regional, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and EEOC guidelines.
  • Ensure proper documentation and training in workplace safety, employment laws, and industry standards.
  • Promote an inclusive work environment that respects diversity and fosters teamwork.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position oversees all operations and employees within the Minnesota district.


Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a management or supervisory role, preferably in operations and sales.
  • Proven experience in business development and driving revenue growth.
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.


Physical Demands:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to see, talk, and hear clearly.
  • Work environment includes office and field settings, requiring flexibility in movement.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
