GPJ is hiring a Senior Director, Global FP&A to join our growing team!
This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to our Auburn Hills office location a minimum of 2 days per week.
Your Role
As the Sr. Director of Global Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. This position requires a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of financial planning systems and tools, and the ability to provide insightful analysis to support executive decision-making. You will leverage your experience to provide guidance on development of new tools, systems or processes that will enhance capabilities and provide greater insights on a global basis. You are responsible for overseeing various aspects of the financial planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and the development of financial models. Your expertise is essential in driving margin improvement and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Your Skills
Global Financial Forecasting and Budgeting
- Lead the data gathering process for monthly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Provide support for potential involvement in revenue forecasting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of financial reporting in Jedox, focusing on Scorecards, Monthly Contribution Margin Reporting, and Quarterly Executive Client P&Ls.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to drive margin improvement, including Contribution Margin Reports, Client P&Ls, Product Line P&Ls, and KPI reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and reports to assist management in making informed financial decisions and improving profitability.
Financial Modeling and Ad Hoc Analysis
- Develop and refine financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by executives and management teams, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Process Improvement
- Promote and assist in streamlining and improving financial reporting and forecasting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of financial planning and analysis activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.

Your Experience
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 10+ years in a senior financial leadership role, with a track record of success in overseeing complex financial operations.
- Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Performance Management systems and financial planning tools.
- Strong financial modeling skills and a working knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team setting.
- Excellent decision-making skills, with a strong ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to executive leadership.
- Prior agency experience and knowledge of agency operations is preferred
