Supports the company's vision and mission statement as indicated in the employee manual and participates in the company's continuous improvement program (LEAN).
Performs all tasks required of Plate Technicians and fills in for Plate Techs if necessary to maintain production.
Leads other employees in all aspects of Plate product manufacturing.
Troubleshoots basic mechanical issues and failures of Plate equipment and submits service requests/calls for maintenance when necessary.
Provides continual feedback to management regarding equipment, processes, and personnel/staffing.
Assists department leads in scheduling employee lunches and breaks and assigning tasks.
Helps create and update daily visual communications boards.
Performs informal and formal training as instructed by Plate Operations Manager.
Monitors techs’ productivity and adherence to procedures and policies, notifies Plate Services Operations Manager as necessary.
Handles minor employee issues including personality conflicts, minor errors, etc.
Coordinates with the Plate Services Operations Manager to complete employee reviews in a timely manner.
Coordinates with the Plate/ Services Operations Manager to formally coach, reprimand, or commend employees.
Coordinates communication between Kitchen and Plates
Ensures completion of work and documentation of work on department batch records, logs, etc.
