Description

Thermcraft is hiring a Plant Controller who will be responsible for managing all accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is especially critical in our growing manufacturing environment, where cost accounting, budgeting, and operational analysis are essential to driving informed business decisions.

This position is hands-on and will collaborate closely with operations, HR, and executive leadership to support financial transparency. This position will oversee capital expenditures, assist with payroll, and new hire administration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensures all legal entity accounting and reporting is done promptly, accurately, and per US GAAP.

• Coordinates the monthly and yearly reporting, preparation of budgets, forecasts, and any other reporting to Management and Corporate CFO.

• Manages and enhances the cost accounting system to support inventory valuation, production costing, and margin analysis.

• Reviews manufacturing variances and collaborates with operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Providing key analysis and insights to guide decision making and leadership in challenging management to improve efficiency and profitability.

• Reviews monthly Intercompany activity to ensure proper elimination in the consolidated financial statements.

• Analysis of the balance sheet, which includes monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts.

• Maintain contact with tax authorities, auditors, bank, tax advisor, salary administrator and financial system consultants.

• Ensure all reporting to banks and tax authorities is done timely and accurately.

• Prepare quarterly cash forecast.

• Manages the local audit process for interim and year-end audits and compliance for tax advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• Minimum 7 years of accounting/finance experience.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting management experience.

• Strong knowledge of financial operations and cost accounting.
