Our Opportunity

GPJ is hiring a Creative Resource Manager to join our growing team!


This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to one of the following office locations a minimum of 2 days/week: Boston or New York City.


Your Role

As an experienced Creative Resource Manager you will help shape our resourcing and creative operational practices. Working in close partnership with Creative leadership, you will oversee all aspects of Resource Management across our largest accounts, including both full-time and freelance creative employees.


You thoughtfully connect the dots between business and creative while calmly and steadily handling many moving pieces.


You are able to quickly understand project requirements as well as employee skill sets, professional development and career goals, and you use this information to connect projects to ideal teams and effectively balance workload while also meeting business needs.


You have experience providing insightful reporting and analysis to leadership and project teams, proactively identifying gaps, helping to resolve issues and making strategic and thoughtful staffing decisions to ensure open staffing needs are filled with the right person at the right time and cost.


Your Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the creative process, specifically in design, advertising and/or experiential marketing
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to stay calm, quickly understand complex project requirements, briefs, and recognize potential risks and dependencies relevant to resourcing
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple requests and maintain a high level of responsiveness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Prioritization / Organization - Properly allocate time and resources so that jobs are completed within a defined timeframe; within budget and managing all creative resources (full time and freelance) as effectively as possible.


Your Experience

Experience & Education

  • 6+ years of agency experience in creative/ production/ marketing/ advertising type roles, ideally in project and/or resource management
  • 4 Year College Degree; preferred in Marketing/Business, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
  • Experience using tools such as Smartsheet, Google Sheets, or similar PM / organizational tools


Travel & Mobility

  • Ability to work irregular hours if needed, in addition to normal business hours, to include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Minimal to no travel

Salary Range: $80k - $100k

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, and location.
