Primary duty is to serve as an Acquisition Analyst for the Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This is a fast-paced, demanding, three-star headquarters organization.
Prepare program documentation in support of Milestone Decisions and reviews
Present planning and status briefings to senior leadership
Assist in the development of requirements, acquisition plans, and major system life cycle support documentation.
Executes DoD acquisition lifecycle management for assigned projects.
Coordinates work products and tasks across the acquisition process and life cycle phases.
Prepares, configures, and staffs milestone documentation.
Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with RCCTO Contracting team.
Participates in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations.
Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products.
Tracks the program budget and master schedule.
Identifies cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs.
Supports development of draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans and other acquisition documents.
Works with contracting personnel to achieve desired contracted outcome.
Maintains configuration control of acquisition documents.
Desired Qualifications
Progressive experience in the DoD 5000 acquisition process, supporting the development and implementation of contracts and all acquisition related documentation
Knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of federal contracting and the DoD 5000 acquisition process
Required Skills
Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced work environment given minimal instruction and supervision to accomplish complex tasks
Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II certification in Program Management or PMP Certification.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field
4 years of relevant Program management experience
Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle process.
