MARKETING COORDINATOR

Marketing & Social Media Management

Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that highlights the company’s employee ownership culture, core values, and accomplishments.
Create and manage content for multiple social media platforms ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
Collaborate with employees, leadership, and an internal teams to generate engaging and authentic content such as success stories, behind-the-scenes moments, project milestones, and employee spotlights.
Manage ongoing marketing opportunities, including maintaining content on the companies Google Business pages, responding to online reviews, and coordinating radio and website advertisements.
Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting tactics to optimize engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility.
Analyze marketing trends, customer expectations, and competitor activities to keep the company’s outreach fresh, relevant, and innovative.
Oversee updates to the company website using GoDaddy or other CMS platforms, ensuring that all content is current, relevant, and user-friendly.
Collaborate with leadership to maintain accurate information on service offerings, project portfolios, and company news.

Client Engagement & Business Development Support

Assist in the development of client-facing marketing materials such as proposals, project sheets, presentations, and branded collateral.
Work with leadership and sales teams to develop messaging that resonates with target clients and communicates our unique value as an employee-owned company.
Support efforts to build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through email marketing, social media interactions, and event participation.
Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and community outreach efforts to foster brand awareness and connect with potential clients.
Help track leads generated from marketing activities and provide insights on return-on-investment and client acquisition trends.

Budget Awareness & Marketing Efficiency

Maintain awareness of the marketing budget and work with leadership to ensure projects are delivered within or under budget.
Provide recommendations on cost-effective marketing strategies, tools, and platforms to maximize impact while minimizing spending.
Manage vendor relationships and ensure efficient use of external resources such as designers, printers, or ad services.

Sponsorships & Community Relations

Identify and manage strategic sponsorship opportunities that align with the company’s values and increase visibility in key markets.
Partner with local organizations, events, and nonprofits to create volunteer and branding opportunities that reinforce community presence.
Oversee sponsorship deliverables including event materials, signage, and promotional items.

Employee Engagement & Culture Storytelling

Assist in planning and promoting internal events that boost morale, celebrate achievements, and reflect our employee ownership culture.
Lead internal communications campaigns that highlight company wins, team accomplishments, and cultural milestones.
Manage employee apparel programs and digital signage content to keep internal branding fresh, fun, and consistent.
Capture photo and video content from job sites, employee events, and daily operations to support storytelling and marketing efforts.
Support Human Resources with culture-forward recruitment efforts by helping to prepare promotional materials and employee ownership messaging for recruitment campaigns and networking events to help attract talent.

Qualifications

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
3+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Brand Management, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand voice.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and website content management systems (e.g., GoDaddy, WordPress).
Comfortable using analytics tools to track engagement and campaign effectiveness (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
Experience planning and supporting events, sponsorships, or community engagement initiatives.
Ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
A passion for storytelling, company culture, and connecting with people through authentic, values-driven messaging.
