Overview
As a Geotechnical Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC), you'll support a diverse range of projects throughout the real estate, oil and gas, and other sectors including geotechnical subsurface investigations, design, and construction related problem solving for public and private clients. Responsibilities:
- Coordination or monitoring of subsurface drilling, obtaining soil and rock samples, preparing boring logs, developing laboratory testing programs, interpreting laboratory data, performing geotechnical analyses and design, and report preparation.
- Provide recommendations for building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining wall design, landslide remediation, and roadway rehabilitation.
- Assist with managing construction materials testing services including coordination, supervision, review, and direction of technical staff for earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry, and pavement testing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Geotechnical experience, preferrably within a consulting based firm;
- Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist registration;
- E.I.T. or G.I.T. certification;
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or Geology
