Make a Difference Every Day: RN Float Pool at Mosaic!
Location: Grand Island, NE
Status: PRN No Weekends, No Oncall - minimum 24 hours a quarter and maximum 24 hours a week
Are you a
Registered Nurse (RN) who loves variety and thrives on building meaningful connections? At
Mosaic, we don’t just provide healthcare; we relentlessly pursue opportunities that empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives.
If you are looking for a role where your "grit" is celebrated and your clinical skills help someone achieve their personal health goals, we want to meet you!
Why You’ll Love This Role
As an
RN Float Pool member, no two days are the same. You’ll be the "health hero" across multiple locations, helping the people we support stay healthy, happy, and heard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be a Partner in Health: You’ll assist individuals with daily health tasks and help them understand their own health journeys.
- Be an Advocate: You’ll work closely with doctors and support teams to ensure everyone gets the preventative care they deserve.
- Be a Teacher: You’ll share your knowledge by training and supporting our amazing direct care staff.
- Be a Clinical Pro: From administering medications to monitoring vital signs, you’ll use your full range of nursing skills.
Commitment To Mosaic Values
At Mosaic, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to contribute and succeed. This commitment is not just a policy, it's the way we work. It's good for the workforce, it's good for Mosaic, and it's the right thing to do.
What We’re Looking For
We believe in a culture of
belonging, connection, and faithfulness. To join our team, you’ll need:
- The Right Credentials: An active RN or LPN license in Nebraska
- Experience: At least one year of general nursing experience under your belt.
- Safety First: A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification (can obtain after hire at the agency).
- A Can-Do Attitude: The ability to travel between locations and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the people we serve.
- Physical Stamina: You’re comfortable being on the move—walking, standing, and the ability to safely transfer up to 50 pounds when needed.
What YOU’LL Get
- Daily Pay-NEW-manage finances with a convenient way to get paid for your work every day.
- Slower, predictable pace: Mosaic supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community and residential settings. The focus is on routine health management, wellness, and advocacy rather than rapid bedside turnover.
- Real human connection: You get to build meaningful, long-term relationships with the people you support, restoring the "why" behind your nursing license.
- Work around your life: Perfect for nurses balancing family commitments, pursuing advanced degrees, or running a household.
- Zero mandatory overtime: Unlike hospital shifts where you get forced into double shifts, your commitment starts and ends on your terms.
