Description
Summary/Objective
Print Tech operators use conveyor cleaning and dip tank equipment to clean organics and/or oils from the material required to prepare it for the lamination process. The operator sets up the resist laminator to its required instructions to prepare the material for the print operation. Print Tech operators use ultraviolet light equipment and Mylar or glass photo tools or laser direct imaging electronic files to create images on materials received from the Lamination department. Print Tech operators also use conveyor developing equipment and large baking ovens to finish the imaging process in preparation for etching and other operations. Systematically use wet chemicals and hot ovens.

- Perform product cleaning processes per general instructions to achieve customer specification
- Perform product Lamination processes per general instructions to achieve customer specification
- Visual photo tools before and after use.
- Perform exposing processes per general instructions to achieve uniform image of customer product.
- Perform developing processes per general instructions to remove unexposed resist and bake sheets as required in preparation for etch.
- Read and apply special instructions when applicable.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Adhere to safety protocols and wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents or injuries. Report any safety hazards or unsafe working conditions to Lead or supervisors.
- Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands. Communicate effectively to address any production issues or challenges.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. First Shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Second Shift days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education And Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Education And Experience
- One year of related experience preferred but not required as we will train
- Additional education or experience.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)

Salary Range: $17.50-$25.00/hour
This is the full salary range for the position. Most new hires can expect to start around $17.50/hour.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
