Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Chemist Intern (part-time, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Leuven, Belgium.
Summary
Conducts laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes to support research and development projects.
Responsibilities
- Performs sample preparation
- Conducts routine experiments and process data for routine work under supervision.
- Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities.
- Learns and keeps familiar with lab procedures.
- Keeps a well-documented laboratory notebook and have it co-signed within two weeks.
- Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members.
- Records and communicates any unexpected differences in test results
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills.
Credentials And Education
- Seeking a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
- Knowledge of safety practices in labs, preferred
- Microsoft suite proficiency, preferred
- Lab research experience, preferred
