The CNC Machinist I operates and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Compensation
The anticipated starting hourly rate for this position is $25.52 to $34.00. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
Essential Functions
- Adjusts, checks out programming and operates semi-automatic or automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision
- Check parts to conformance to specifications

Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 1 year of related experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
