Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Attend production meetings, to analyze shortages and/or non-conformities in materials, machinery, and equipment problems; make decisions related to balancing production by work area and personnel distribution in coordination with the manufacturing supervisor.
- Participates in the validation of production processes.
- In charge of the planning team, gives them support and orientation based on the availability and distribution of materials.
- Attends the requirements of Customer Service meeting and improve delivery dates for orders according to their needs.
- Maintain continuous communication with his direct supervisor (Materials Manager) to keep him informed of the situation or progress of production, as well as the problems that arise and the solutions that are given.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports of parts produced, what is in process, work orders that come out without material and expired orders (past due).
- Leads TIER 3 with planning team
- Participate in SIOP meetings.
- Leads RCCP meetings with production areas as part of SIOP.
- Owner of planning parameters in Oracle.
- Establish and communicate clear work priorities for the planning team, aligning daily tasks with high level project goals by leading and coaching.
- KPI Management, monitor and report on departmental metrics, such as schedule adherence, PDSL, RDSL, Inventory goals and ITO goals, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Proven track record managing the full operational lifecycle, from strategic procurement of direct/ indirect materials to optimized outbound logistics and customer fulfillment.
- Good experience in platforms such as Oracle or SAP with a specific focus on data integrity audits, planning parameter configuration, and the development of actionable KPI dashboards.
- Experience leading new product launches (NPI), production line transfers, or software implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with diverse departments to synchronize priorities and mitigate bottlenecks and implement corrective actions that drive overall plant efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a significant plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Production Planning and Supply Chain, with a proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage high-stakes customer service accounts.
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent knowledge of MRP / CRP / MPS.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (complex formulas, macros, and data modeling) and hands-on experience with Oracle ERP or similar enterprise-level software.
