AVIAN is searching for an Analyst, Operations I join our team providing support for the Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS) Group.
A Operations Analyst must be able to solve technical problems proposed by the customer. Possess a practical understanding of engineering and inventory concepts. Assure that the product and its manufacturing process meet quality and safety standards IAW drawings and specifications. Provide inventory management support including shipping, receiving, and inspection and generate applicable Government forms. Able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens. Provide inventory support using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or CMPro tool. Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is a plus.

Responsibilities
Our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following tasks:
- Selection of the most appropriate analytical techniques to use on gathered information
- Application of several analytical techniques, including simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytic hierarchy process
- Construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied
- The use of models to assign values to the different components and clarify the relationships among them
- Altered of values in order to examine what may happen to the system under different circumstances
Qualifications
Position requirements include:
- 1-2 years professional experience in operations research or related field
- Department of Defense Secret clearance required
