Overview
Looking for a motivated Senior or Journeyman level Program analysis to provide technical, integration and logistics support to AIRWorks Air Domian Awareness Systems (ADAS) Team in support to the Project Manager at the Pentagon. The candidate is responsible for providing technical expertise and logistics support of the integration, installation, analysis, test & evaluation and deployment of the ADAS effort.
Primary tasks as ADAS Technical Integration Support Specialist include:- Supporting the AIRWorks Director and Deputy Director- Supporting the ADAS Integrated Project Team Lead- Coordinating all detailed task assignments with AIRWorks Leadership, while maintaining the ability to work independently to plan and execute all project requirements.
Responsibilities
The Candidate will support the ADAS efforts to include:
- Performing technical support of daily operations of the ADAS system to include systems operations, equipment installation maintantenace and repair, ground station support, software installation and maintenance, system operator support, installation of system upgrades and modifications, configuration management, and airworthiness.
-Provide direct support to the Project Manager and Lead Systems Engineer.- Support of specification development and technical review of reports and contract deliverables, - Support for air vehicle, ground station, and sensor integration including flight clearance support, - Contract documentation support for asset modification developing SOW for engineering requirements/efforts, engineering analysis of technical documentation, planning leading to requirements and specification definition for a follow-on procurements and sensor integration efforts, review system/subsystem ICDs for interface gaps. - Assist in performing gap analysis and providing recommendations for system improvements.- Participate in trade studies that includes evaluating proposed technical solutions and their physical implementation.- Work with Government and Industry engineering, product support, manufacturing and program manager personnel, including technical experts from various DoD entities.
Other experience preferred:
- Familiarity with Unmanned mobile control system.- Familiarity with NAVAIR Engineering processes.- Familiarity with requirements documentation, including model based system engineering.- Ability to communicate well in team environments.- Good organizational skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree.
SENIOR: A Senior level person within a labor category has over 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a MA/MS degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Master’s
