Additional Compensation Details:
- $26.00 to $28.00 per hour Dependent on Experience and Location of Role
- Potential 90-day performance-based raise
- Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure

Responsibilities
Schedule
8:00am - 4:30pm
(5) 8 hour shifts and most likely include weekends
The Role
The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting all inbound and outbound product to ensure that company quality and dating standards are met. Inspector will work closely with the receiving group to identify any quality issues with incoming product and take the approriate action. Inspector will also work closely with the Purchasing Department to resolve quality issues. This position reports directly to the Quality Control Supervisor.
Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Inspect and determine fresh produce, quality standards for inbound/outbound products using industry-approprate methods
- Maintain awareness of market trends, technology, and food safety
- Working with a warehouse management system that includes RF scanning and Inventory Control techniques
- Recording inspection results, summarizing reworks and shrink determinations
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working with produce for at least 1 year
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and be self-motiviated to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision and multi-task
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 36-degrees
- Ability to work safely and professionally in a fast paced environment with frequent heavy equipment and pedestrian traffic
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Pallet Jack/Forklift experience a plus
