We're looking for an Associate Manager-Default Prevention. The Associate Manager is responsible for managing our on-site and our third-party servicing company Default Prevention Services and office functions. The Associate Manager will be responsible for all efforts and will be directly responsible to minimize default rates, execute goals and reporting.
Primary/Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Complies with all federal, state, accreditation, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring default prevention efforts for all OPEIDs.
- Directly responsible to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
- Ability to compile and analyze reports from partnering student servicing companies and incorporate data to forecast default rates.
- Communicate effectively and on a timely basis with student borrowers, lender servicers, guarantee agencies, and third-party servicer concerning application status, enrollment status, and default aversion information.
- Provide information to current, prospective, and inactive student borrowers on all aspects of the financial aid process and options.
- Provide additional support and training for default prevention staff at the Service Center.
- Provide training for newly hired DPS staff at the Service Center
- Manage dialer operations and understand algorithms to help determine the best contact times and approaches.
- Responsible for the supervision, scheduling, and management of Default Prevention Specialists within assigned regions.
- Ensure the organizations’ operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and ensuring Default Prevention Specialists are meeting assigned goals.
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions.
- Responsible for executive reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Recruit and train new Default Prevention Specialists.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Has dotted-line vertical reporting responsibilities to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Assist in additional support for our students as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
