Position Summary

Work with Business Development and Property Tax divisions to help identify business opportunities and create tax savings propositions for prospective clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with regional subject matter experts to discuss local tax issues, assessment trends, savings opportunities, and desired types of clients
• Utilize various data services and jurisdictional websites to conduct market research and obtain relevant property information
• Extract, organize, and format tax and assessment data for use in Excel models
• Assist with valuation analysis and help identify overvalued properties
• Package and deliver lead lists with valid business reasons to Property Tax and Business Development teams

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years professional experience in real estate, valuation, property tax, or accounting preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Familiarity with CoStar preferred
• Exceptional organizational, research, and problem-solving skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously
