Accounting co-op
As a co-op at Al. Neyer, you’ll apply what you’ve learned in the classroom through your teachings and coursework and apply it directly in a work setting. By the end of the semester, with the hands-on experience you’ve acquired both at the desk and/or offsite, you’ll be able to take those new learnings and harness them back into the classroom. Co-ops work directly along with the business units to help deliver and execute work results that our organization, clients, investors and fellow colleagues can be proud of
What responsibilities would you have as an Accounting co-op?
- Deposit receipts and record transactions
- Record journal entries
- Research outstanding checks with vendors
- Research past due statements, verify payment or request invoices from vendor
- Reconcile high volume bank account activity daily and prepare monthly bank reconciliations for assigned entities
- Additional accounting related projects
Position Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited College or University
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word
