My client, a growing and dynamic manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Controller. This company offers leadership training, opportunities to grow, great benefits, including a 401k match, three weeks of PTO to start, and a supportive culture (many long-tenured employees). On-site in Lewisburg, TN, Monday-Thurs 7-4:15 and Friday 7-12, with the option to work remotely. The salary is up to $120,00 plus 20% target bonus. Permanent direct hire. Must have manufacturing or construction accounting experience.
Responsibilities of the Plant Controller:
- This position reports to the CFO and oversees/performs daily accounting operations and assists with strategy (AP and AR are done at the corporate level).
- Perform cost accounting, month-end close, cash receipts, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity, etc.
- Assist with contract review and oversee inventory accounting review.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and KPIs.
- Regularly produce financial reports.
- Perform and oversee annual audits.
- Provide recommendations to non-accountants, including the Plant Manager and operations.
- Utilize SAP, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.
Preferred Qualifications for the Plant Controller:
- Manufacturing cost experience is required.
- Ability to work onsite in Lewisburg, TN, Monday -Thursday.
- Possesses advanced Excel skills.
