We are looking for a Director for our Corporate Studio. This team member will focus on a variety of typologies, commercial office interiors, and will lead a team to create, develop, and provide creative leadership to multiple design teams through all phases of projects.
What you will do
· Provide leadership to the interior architecture and design team
· Manage the design process in all phases of the project including programming, conceptual designs, space planning, design development and production
· Represent Hendy at meetings and presentations with clients
· Work with senior management in business development efforts
· Contribute to recruitment of new talent for the office
Your Qualifications
· 15+ years of related experience, including demonstrated success as a project manager in Corporate Accounts interior architecture
· Advanced degree in Architecture or Design preferred
· Architecture license preferred
· Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with an understanding of trends in large, interior architecture design
· Experience with the entire project life cycle from project setup through post occupancy, including fee and team management, schedules and budgets
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Positive attitude with strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
· Strong persuasive communicator with excellent verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients
· A desire to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership
· Software skills in AutoCAD, Revit preferred
