Job Summary: This position is responsible for directly supervising foremen and crews in completing multiple projects per contract specifications. We have a current opening for a Superintendent for our Campbell, CA Team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides for timely, quality and safe completion of all jobs assigned by directly supervising foremen.
- Provide direction, advice, project setup/layout to job foremen for multiple projects within the Division.
- Responsible for timely movement of equipment on and off projects..
- Provide assistance to foremen in solving problems and jobsite issues related to completion of work.
- Contributes to maximum efficiency with labor and equipment utilization on multiple projects within the Division by working with and supporting the Project Manager.
- Contribute to timely scheduling of crews to provide for timely responses to customers, keep an even flow of work and prevent down time. In this effort, review jobs one week in advance.
- Ensure compliance with WVCC’s safety program by holding all foremen, employees and subcontractors accountable for complying with all safety requirements.
- Enforce Company employment policies/procedures.
- Assist Project Managers with projections and scheduling.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure all flowfinity reports are complete by end of day.
- Complete Asbuilts to be delivered to Project Manager.
Supportive duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in Company meetings.
- Supervise main line, concrete and paving crews.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum high school education; 2 year college preferred
- Minimum 6 years construction crew and 2 years foreman experience

Qualifications:
- CA drivers license
- Math Skills – calculate footages and material quantities
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Working knowledge of safety, health, environmental regulations and construction industry orders
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to multi-task

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to a) drive to work sites; b) walk job sites to evaluate work to be done, looking for unsafe acts and conditions; c) climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, reach, lift, touch, feel and bend to observe/evaluate work site, people, objects, material, machinery and conditions; d) listen to customers, employees, listen for moving equipment and machinery. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus in daylight, dawn, dusk and night conditions. This employee is exposed to a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain; must be able to wear appropriate PPE’s if ever exposed to airborne particles and toxic or caustic materials
