Basic Purpose and Scope:
This position will support logistics team with shipment requests for outbound finished goods and inbound production material. Provides support to logistics team to ensure efficient and effective movement of finished goods to customers and raw materials to plant(s) at their direction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists transportation and logistics staff (logisticians) for routing of outbound shipments specifically for all Litehouse manufacturing facilities of finished goods and bulk liquids - 35%
- Performs routine tasks of sending and receiving communication by phone, email, fax, text, web-based appointment systems - 30%
- Performs routine administrative tasks of document filing, document archiving, supplying documentation for various needs by department request - 20%
- Responsible for Canadian Import and Export document processes - 15%
- Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing
- Ability to meet attendance requirements - Ongoing
- Other activities and duties as assigned - Ongoing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:
- Education: Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer and data entry skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently in the common language
- Must have interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company
Travel Requirements:
- Travel up to 10% of the time should be expected
- Travel may be required with little prior warning and/or for extended periods of time. Off-site deployment of up to 1 weeks could be expected
