JOB SUMMARY
As the Category Management Analyst II, you have a vital role in performing strategic data analysis to support our Category Management Team. You will utilize syndicated and consumer data sources to aid the team in growing Litehouse brands market positions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize data sources (including IRI, Nielsen, Spins, Numerators, Retailer portals) to analyze retailer, competitive, and Litehouse performance. Present analytical insights, results, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner
- Support KAM/NAM team and Sales Planning functions with Promotional Effectiveness evaluation, ad-hoc reporting/analysis needs, and Category Insights. Representing Category Management in strategy meetings, planning exercises
- Develop new Market Data reporting tools/reporting, working directly with internal customers to establish needs and solutions
- Identify, track, and measure promotional performance and data-mine for new promotional opportunities
- Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Other activities and duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of analytical experience
- Experience analyzing and presenting syndicated CPG data metrics
- Ability to analyze and investigate date to find insights
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to express ideas effectively and efficiently in the common language
