Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and technical support to the Program Manager for Sea-based Weapon Systems (SBWS) Aegis BMD Weapons System (ABS) for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) missile flight tests as well as support efforts for the ABI Test Strategies. These activities include providing input for and attending multiple meetings weekly for program milestones, situational awareness, Fleet capability, testing requirements, and presentation at the ABT Weekly Staff meeting. Attend scheduled teleconferences for ABI Test Leads and provided them with detailed input regarding Ship capabilities, schedules, and Mission requirements.
Performance of contractor support efforts for Mission Director (MD) activities for assigned Mission that included providing detailed updates for the ABT Weekly Staff meeting, coordinated/scheduled/attended teleconferences for Briefs/Meetings.
By assisting the ABI-T Test Lead in monitoring the status of ABI programs and developing and synchronizing the ABI Test programs with the AWS baselines, it ensured Mission capability, feasibility and purpose. By addressing some of the more routine day-to-day demands on the customer's time allows him to focus his attention on his most important tasking, such as Mission Planning, Fleet coordination, and resolving the innumerable technical issues that arise during preparation for upcoming test events. In addition, products developed provide comprehensive situational awareness, promote understanding, and inform leadership decision making within AB and MDA.
Qualifications:
- 7 years related experience
- Experience with Sea-based Weapon Systems (SBWS) Aegis BMD Weapons System (ABS) for Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) missile flight tests highly desired -Bachelor's degree.
- Works well in fast paced, highly technical environments, is an effective team player, and has effective written and verbal communication skills, and works well in a team atmosphere
- Secret clearance required
